Abstract

SCOPE

The scope of this test method is to determine the shear strength of the fixing media between natural stone slabs and other substrate materials.

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The method is applicable to different types of stone elements consisting of more than one slab. The different parts of the element may, for example, be a stone slab with a bearing concrete slab as a substrate where these two elements are fixed together by an adhesive medium or with steel pins etc.
