Abstract
This Nordtest method specifies procedures for laboratory measurements of airborne noise emitted by luminaires with tubular fluorescent lamps. It specifies a direct method and a comparison method for determining sound power levels produced by luminaires with tubular fluorescent lamps based on the basic IS0 standards IS0 3741 and IS0 3742. In addition, a simplified method using A-weighted levels is presented.
