Water closets: Property of flushing (NT VVS 001)

Abstract

  This paper describes a method for testing the flushing performance of a water-closet. No single flushing test could by itself characterize the flushing performance but several in combination give a reliable picture. The present method is such one which consists of 4 single methods in combination. Besides a detailed description of the methods a point system is given which makes it possible to evaluate the flush performance of a water-closet, and to compare it with corresponding evaluation of other types of water closets.
