Abstract

  This test method covers the determination of heat of reaction and reaction data for unsaturated polyester resins (UPE) by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The test is intended to be used to obtain data for calculation of model parameters in kinetic models. The data obtained may also be used directly for quality control, research and process optimisation.
