Machinery and equipment: Declared noise emission values based on the determination of the combined standard deviation (NT ACOU 100)

Abstract

This Nordtest method provides quidelines for determining the A-weighted declared single-number and dual-number noise emission values of machinery and equipment based on the determination of their spectrum or A- and C-weighted noise levels. The method can be applied to all kinds of test environments as long as the standard deviations of single frequency bands are known. The method is applicable to machinery and equipment operating under specific conditions mentioned in measurement test codes, IS0 3740 or IS0 11200 standard series and IS0 9614 standard. The uncertainty of this Nordtest method is identical with the applied measurement method.
