Abstract

  The scope of this Nordtest method is to provide instructions and recommendations regarding onsite performance checkups of heat pumps and refrigeration equipment. The method describes the way in which the performance of heat pump and refrigeration equipment is to be inferred by means of measurements in the refrigerant system and the performance compared with data provided by the manufacturer or supplier of the equipment. The objective of the method is to keep the uncertainty of measurement of the coefficient of performance below ±15 %.
