Abstract

SCOPE AND FIELD OF APPLICATION

This is a method for determining calcium oxide content and soluble silica content of concrete. The results can be used to estimate the cement content of concrete and sometimes the type of cement. However, this estimation is outside the scope of this method. The described methods can also be used to determine the calcium oxide content and soluble silica content of cement, aggregate and supplement material.
