Building materials: Emission of volatile compounds, chamber method (NT BUILD 358)

Abstract

SCOPE This Nordtest method specifies a test procedure for determination of the emission of volatile compounds from building materials in a small, ventilated climate chamber. FIELD OF APPLICATION The test method is in particular intended to measure how much a building material contributes to the contamination of the air in buildings. The method is applicable for all kind of surface materials including sandwich components with a surface directly exposed to the air in the buildings.
