Abstract

1 SCOPE

This Nordtest method describes a method for the preparation and conditioning of test pieces prior to determination of the thermal conductivity.

2 APPLICATION

The method is intended primarily for materials containing a gas with lower thermal conductivity than air, the thermal conductivity of which will therefore change with time. After sample preparation and conditioning, thermal conductivity is determined in conformity with NT BUILD 131 or ISO/DIS 8302.
