Abstract
This verification procedure specifies tests to verify compliance with the characteristics specified in Appendix 1. The specifications in Appendix 1 should be regarded as part of the method.
If nothing else is stated, the tests shall be performed on all hammers of the tapping machine.
The prescribed tests are divided into two groups:
1) Tests which only have to be performed once for each tapping machine (Chapter 5).
2) Tests which have to be performed at regular intervals – e.g. once a year (Chapter 6).
Note If parts of the tapping machine are replaced or modified, relevant tests from Chapter 5 shall be repeated.
