Abstract

  This Nordtest method describes the calibration of pressure balances by comparison with a calibrated pressure balance. Methods are included for
  • mass determination of the piston and the weights of the pressure balance.
  • determination of the effective area of the piston-cylinder assembly.
The method covers the calibration in the range 4-2000 bar gauge pressure.
