Abstract

  This test method simulates a fire that can occur when a fluid in spray form due to, for example, leakage comes in contact with ignition sources of various sizes. The test method is suited for testing of hydraulic fluids, but can also be used for other types of fluids, for example paints, varnishes and fuels. In these cases special equipment for pressurizing and spray formation must be used.
