Abstract

 

SCOPE

This Nordtest method describes a method for measuring the forces required to unfasten, open, close, and fasten movable parts of a window.  

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The method may be applied to most of the known window types provided with ordinary window hardware, e.g. casement opening windows, side bottom hung windows, top hung windows, horizontally pivoted windows and sliding windows.
