Abstract
SCOPE
This NORDTEST method refers to short-time measurements of radon daughter concentration using a filter method and simultaneous measurement or estimation of the air change rate.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
With this test the radon daughter concentration in indoor air can be measured. With mutually connected radon daughter concentration values and air change rate values, it is also possible to estimate the necessary air change rate in order to lower the radon daughter concentration to a desired level. The method can,if the specifications are followed, be the basis for an estimate of the annual average radon daughter concentration. The method is applicable to all indoor measurements of air in dwellings.
