Abstract

 

SCOPE

This NORDTEST method is intended for the determination of the force necessary to peel off a bonded floor or wall covering from its support.  

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The method can be used for testing the peel off strength of any combination of a stiff baseplate, an adhesive and a flexible sheet material. Some adhesives will require other bonding techniques than the method described under subclause 6.4.1., which is intended for dispersion adhesives for floor coverings.
