Abstract

1. SCOPE

This Nordtest method specifies a method to determine the strength of sport floors when subjected to dynamic point loads (e.g. simulating the impact from jumping or falling athletes).

2. FIELD OF APPLICATION

The method can be used for all floors with a definite strength at rupture (normally wooden floors). The method can not be used for point-elastic plastic- or rubber floors.
