Building materials, coating systems on exterior wood: Performance -accelerated test (NT BUILD 229)

  • This NORDTEST method specifies an accelerated performance test for paint coatings - expected to give maintenance intervals of at least 5 years on exterior woodwork, primarily joinery - for the purpose of evaluating their durability.

    Correlation with performance in use is still under evaluation and needs to be further supported by use of this test method.
